The Body Care Lab started with something very personal.

During a period of chronic stress, when I was getting dangerously close to a very low point, I barely felt like myself.

My evening shower became one of the few moments that helped me slow down, feel present and reconnect with myself. Over time, that simple part of my day grew into a ritual I genuinely looked forward to, and slowly helped me find my way back.

As that ritual became more important to me, I started paying closer attention to the products I was actually using.

I found myself spending hours researching ingredients, comparing products and trying to figure out what was actually worth buying. That’s when I began to notice how fragmented body care felt, and how the same trending ingredients kept showing up in almost every product.

We hear so much about which ingredients are good for our skin, but far less about when too much of a good thing can start working against it.

After years of working in the beauty industry, including on brands like G&G 101, I knew there had to be a more thoughtful way to approach body care. I kept coming back to one question:

Why couldn't the whole experience, from the shower to the final step of care, be designed as one thoughtful system?

Complementary formulas. A routine that makes sense. A ritual that gives you space to slow down.

That question became The Body Care Lab.

Because self-care shouldn't become another task on an already endless list. It should be something that gives something back to us.
